Inviting a Member

1. Open the Team page: In the sidebar or navigation menu, select Team to open the team management page.

2. Open invite dialog: Click Invite member (or click Manage members to open the organization profile).

3. Send invitation: Enter the helper's email address and select an initial role to send the invitation.

4. Helper joins: The invited helper receives an invitation link, creates or signs into their own account, and gains access to the collection.

5. Manage roles and members: On the Team page under Members, account owners can change any member's role anytime using the role dropdown (Viewer, Contributor, Manager, or Owner), or click more options (⋯) and select Remove member to revoke access. A sole owner cannot be removed or demoted.

What Each Role Can Do

Permissions follow a four-tier role hierarchy:

1. Viewer: Read-only access for helpers or accountants. Can view cards in the collection, browse orders and pick lists, and inspect sales reports and settings. Cannot add, edit, or delete cards, cannot run AI scans or pricing, and cannot modify eBay listings.

2. Contributor: Intake and cataloging access for listers and photographers. Can do everything a Viewer can, plus add cards, photograph cards, run AI scan and AI price, update card details, sync eBay orders, and mark pick list items as picked. Cannot publish, revise, or end eBay listings, delete cards or lots, or change settings.

3. Manager: Full operational management for inventory managers and lead sellers. Can do everything a Contributor can, plus publish live listings to eBay, revise and end eBay listings, apply re-pricing, delete cards and lots, and resolve duplicates from Review. Cannot modify account-level settings, connect or disconnect eBay, or manage team members.

4. Owner: Complete account control. Can do everything a Manager can, plus configure account settings, connect and disconnect eBay seller accounts, export account data, and invite or remove team members.

Switching Accounts

1. Multi-team access: If you own a collection and also help with another seller's collection, your login can belong to multiple accounts simultaneously.

2. Switch active team: In the web client, open the team switcher to switch between your personal account and your team accounts.

3. Scoped permissions and data: When you switch accounts, your active view, inventory, eBay connections, and permissions immediately update to match that team and your assigned role in it.

4. Desktop devices: Desktop app connections use device tokens linked to a specific account. A helper connecting a desktop client redeems a link code to connect their device directly to the team collection.
